How a Residential Architect Uses East-Facing Plots

From initial sketches to final installation, We prioritized light and space. Guests enter through a front garden into a soaring, double-height living room where floor-to-ceiling glass captures the soft morning sun.

  • Public vs. Private: The ground floor houses the social hubs and a family room that spills out into a backyard garden, centered around a preserved mango tree.

  • The Upper Level: This floor contains three bedrooms and a study. We utilized seamless glass railings here to ensure the views of the landscape remain totally uninterrupted.

Materials & Execution

As the residential architect, Mayatar Team chose a palette of exposed red brick from MTB to help the structure melt into the neighborhood, accented by minimal white walls. While high compound walls offer total privacy, a slim viewing slit was added to pique the interest of passersby. The result is a masterclass in serene, integrated living.
